HR professionals perhaps?
When following people pays off!
I know I follow too many people. My inbox is full of wonderful articles and sage advice… that I don’t really have time to read.
I probably should unfollow some of them, but I’m afraid of missing that one important tip or information source that will make a difference in my business – or the businesses of the people I coach. And after all – it is my business to keep up with what is going on in business.

Connecting is important… how about in person?
This week I attended the Chamber of Commerce New Member event to meet some new members and help explain the benefits of joining the Chamber.
One of our Chamber Community Board Members, Major Steve Champ made the excellent point that you get out of membership (and networking) what you put into it!
But here’s another. In talking to two of the attendees… one from Grow Vantage who is in interior design (a “GV’er” for short) and a new member in the benefits field, I realized that they may be able to refer to one another – because they may have clients with similar needs and backgrounds. You have to show up in networking to make this kind of connection – and it’s often forgotten by entrepreneurs, but we do know that finding people who know us and like us – leads to the trust, and that leads to business.
So I’d like you to ask yourself – who is your business connector? Can you find a creative way to reach your target market through a colleague they trust as much as you do?
