Enjoy a Movie Under the Stars Next up in the Lawnchair Luminata season is The Princess Bride July 5, 2023. The movie starts at dusk (around 9:30). Arrive early for art activities starting at 6:00pm and checkout the Barrie Thunder Classics car show across the road in Heritage park

A big thank you to Pollinate Barrie and the MacLaren Art Centre for braving the rain and mud last Saturday to help us create a pollinator oasis on Maple AvenueMaclaren Art Centre – Summer ReceptionJoin us in celebrating the opening of our Summer Exhibitions on Friday, July 7 from 6:30pm to 9:00pm!

Opening remarks will begin at 7:00pm followed by an in-depth Conversation with Petrichor artists, Nurielle Stern and Nicholas Crombach, and curator Sheila McMath.

This season, we are also offering the chance to win a pair of tickets for the opening night of Theatre By the Bay’s production of Bobbie! Check in at the front desk to be entered into a draw for the tickets. The winner will be drawn at the end of the reception at 8:45pm. The winner must be present to claim the prize.
