Are You Facing Slow (or No) Client Responses?

See the link below

If that’s where you are, there are 3 approaches you can take

  1. Head in the sand: you may feel like after all the changes we’ve faced in the past three years – enough is enough. Fair enough – but that won’t make a difference.
  2. Wait it out. After all, economic downturns have always turned around at some point. True – but how is your cash flow?
  3. Try new approaches. In my mind we’re all back to learning – to deal with the changes in the market that are difficult to deal with and to find new approaches.

Those of you who know me – know that I research… everything. Thank you for those of you who filled out my survey!**

That feedback confirmed my observations or feedback from dealing with many other businesses. That is: Whether people think we’re in a recession (we’re not), or we’re headed for one, willingness to buy really depends on urgency, perceived need or desire and price point. Our potential or existing clients have slowed down or put the brakes on purchases – unless that perceived need is in a manageable price range, is considered necessary or fills a feeling of being deprived. The latter is my description – but let’s look at examples:

  • You may go out for an occasional dinner (especially if you have a coupon)
  • You are still getting your hair cut, even coloured maybe (though maybe not quite as often?) But you may not do highlights.
  • You are travelling because you couldn’t go anywhere during the pandemic. As prices rise, you may start to look for deals…do short distances, or drive – but you’re still going.
  • Your business needs upgrades – but even if cashflow isn’t terrible – you’re waiting to sign off on proposals – just in case.

From now until August 7th I’m setting up free calls with GV grads to see if I can find a way to help catch up your knowledge and find resources that will make a difference.  Here is the link: https://grow-vantage.appointlet.com/s/strategy-planning-session

I’d love to hear from you.
