Bradford Will Rename Park To Honour Fallen South Simcoe Police Officer
MIDDLETOWN PARK TO BE CALLED CONSTABLE DEVON NORTHUP MEMORIAL PARK

The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury will rename Middletown Park, on Langford Blvd,
Constable Devon Northup Memorial Park, in honour of the officer who was killed in the line of duty last fall.
“We are looking forward to creating a permanent tribute to celebrate Constable Northrup’s life and commemorate his dedication to public service,” said Mayor James Leduc.
A dedication ceremony will be held in the spring
Constable Northrup and Constable Morgan Russell, lost their lives while responding to a disturbance in Alcona on the evening of October 11, 2022.
The Town of Innisfil this month renamed South Innisfil Community Centre to Morgan Russell Memorial Arena & Community Centre to create a permanent tribute in his memory.
