The Barrie Colts has donated tickets with all proceeds going to “Project Lifesaver” on the pre-season game September 14th. It’s an easy way to donate $11.50 to protect some of our vulnerable friends and family.
Vulnerable people, from individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease, autism, Down syndrome, acquired brain injury…maybe members of your family… can wander from their homes and become lost. In February, senior Mandy Thompson left her family home and was never found again.
Project Lifesaver is a new initiative between the Chamber, Simcoe.com, the police, rescue and EMS organizations in our area to bring life-saving bracelets with GPS to those vulnerable people and cut down the time to find them from hours or days… to minutes.
You can purchase tickets for that game from the Chamber website www.barriechamber.com/colts . If you want to buy more than one – click on multiple tickets to avoid entering individual names).
OR from the Colt’s website at www.barriecolts.com (click on tickets, individual tickets, and the September 14th date, then scroll down to the popup). Use promo code LIFESAVER.
It’s a great opportunity for family, friends, employee team building or a great thank you for your clients.
