News release – Horseshoe Resort
Horseshoe Resort, the premier destination for winter enthusiasts, is thrilled to announce its grand opening on Friday, December 1st.
Nestled in the heart of Simcoe County, 1-hour north of the GTA, Horseshoe Resort is proud to be the first resort in the area to open its doors to eager guests.
A key contributor to the early opening is Horseshoe Resort’s substantial investment in state-of-the-art snowmaking technology. Over the past 2 years, over 100 new snowmaking guns have been added to the resort’s existing infrastructure. This strategic initiative has allowed the resort to create optimal snow conditions, earlier in the season.
Opening weekend hours of operation will be 9-4:30, and lift tickets and rentals will be available for purchase on-site only. Limited runs & lifts will be available & lift tickets will be at a discounted price.
Horseshoe Resort’s 23/24 Season opening on December 1st kicks off a season full of exciting events and activities, including international-level ski and snowboard competition, live entertainment, and mass participation events.
