I hope this finds you doing well, keeping safe and healthy. This is the first time reaching out through the Grow Vantage community in quite a while, as I look to rebuild my sustainable travel company again in the wake of all the havoc this pandemic has wreaked <add deep sigh>. This is when we really need to support each other. Any help you can provide – by forwarding this to someone you know is looking to travel or otherwise – would be genuinely appreciated. I am likewise someone you can reach out to as you try to rebuild.

Below I provide some tools to figure out when and where to travel in safety, as well as some affordable and sustainable new options offered by EarthTreks!

The all-inclusive week-long retreats are offered in total safety, and begin at only $999 CAD – and that price includes taxes, airport transfers, accommodations, meals catered around food preferences, lots of activities, and so much more – everything but your international flight (noting the return flight I recommend can cost as little as $500 CAD).

Ecuador is managing the pandemic well. Their vaccination rates are excellent – the entire adult population on the Galapagos Islands has been fully vaccinated since late last spring! Adhering to thorough cleaning protocols in public spaces, social distancing, masking, and otherwise are just part of life there, just as they are here. I am traveling to Mindo in November and happy to report back first-hand – be sure to follow my trip on social media.

For the first few months, I will be helping to oversee the new retreats in person, as I work with my team to get everything flowing seamlessly. Hosting retreats in Mindo has been my favourite part of EarthTreks for the last several years, and I am excited to make a go of it full-time! COVID-19: How to figure out when & where it’s safe to travel again…

I know many of us are looking (or at least hoping) to book travel for this winter – they are saying it’s an extra harsh one on the way. After so long stuck indoors and not traveling at all, it’s fair to say most of us cannot wait to get traveling again!

I held off on reaching out to you until I felt I could offer some truly safe options for travel, and that is how I feel about all of the trips currently up on the website. It’s also important to mention that if you have to cancel a booking with us due to the pandemic, we will directly provide you with a 100% life-long travel credit to use when the timing is right.

Now, to share some helpful tools for you, to help you be strategic when pulling together your travel plans by being well informed. The United Nations World Travel Organization (UNWTO) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) collaborated to develop the first one-stop-shop for global information on COVID-19 related travel regulations, with the goal of rebuilding confidence among travellers.
