Library To Close Locations For Renovations And Staff Training
Limited Service & Closures From December 4-8

Residents who frequent the Barrie Public Library’s Downtown location will need to adjust their schedules as the library announces a temporary closure from December 4th to 8th.
Additionally, there will be a city-wide closure on December 7th, impacting all library locations, to facilitate a comprehensive staff training day.
LIMITED SERVICE AT DOWNTOWN BRANCH
The Downtown location will undergo a period of limited services to execute essential flooring repairs in the lobby area.
While the Library will pause in-person services, partial services are available on:
- Monday, December 4
- Tuesday, December 5
- Wednesday, December 6
- Friday, December 8
