Mental Health Week May 2 – 8
Mental Health Week and Wellness Together Canada May 2 to 8 is the Canadian Mental Health Association’s Mental Health Week. This year’s theme is empathy. This is especially important in relation to the COVID-19 pandemic, which affects everyone differently. Here are some tips you can adopt to become more empathetic: Be curious about other people’s situations. Ask open-ended questions and listen to the answers carefully. Avoid making assumptions about people. Understand that the language we use with people has an impact on their mental health.
