Metis Dot Art – Did you know the Metis people are sometimes referred to as the Flower Beadwork People? Open Air Afternoons – Take in an afternoon concert at Meridian Place with Spencer Burton from 2 pm till 4 pm. Spencer carries with him an insatiable wanderlust and deep respect for nature, which reflects in his songs. His musical trajectory has been multifaceted, from his punk rock roots as part of Attack in Black to the darker country-inspired sound of his first two solo albums under the name Grey Kingdom. In 2012, he dropped Grey Kingdom, in favour of his own name, moving towards a more natural country folk sensibility.
Keep an eye out for stilt walkers and jugglers roaming Dunlop Street for your amusement.
Of course, our local businesses will be open to welcome you to browse and shop at your leisure.
