Sometimes we are held back because the conditioning we receive as children affects our aspirations and our understanding of our ability to succeed. Lawyer Joanna Shaw wanted to be a judge from the age of 6, but when she went to university to become a lawyer, she wanted to change the world. Despite lack of resources, and initially defined by family and societal conditioning, she is doing that, showing everyone that our ability to expand beyond that conditioning is possible – to get a seat at the big table.
