Do You Have A Smart Serve Certificate issued Before July 1, 2018? Yikes… renew by June 30th
On November 9, 2021, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) announced they are introducing a new 5-year Smart Serve recertification requirement, effective July 1, 2022.

If you hold a certificate issued PRIOR to July 1, 2018, your certificate will expire on June 30, 2023.
Anyone certified on or after July 1, 2018, will have 5-years, from the date of issue, to recertify.
It will be the certificate holder’s responsibility to recertify BEFORE their certificate expires. All valid Smart Serve certificate holders can recertify for a discounted price of $29.95 if you do so prior to your certificate expiring.
